Tired of having to buy all your own cleaning products? I am! I spend a good $30 each time I buy soft scrub from clean ingredient brands such as Pure Haven. So I decided to make my own! This recipe only calls for 3 simple ingredients, and it smells expensive.
I am a huge fan of keeping basic cleaning staples in your nontoxic home. This recipe was created using these simple and very important staples. Now get to mixing your soft scrub!
Chemical Free Soft Scrub Recipe 1/4 cup Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap in Lavender
1 cup Arm & Hanmer Baking Soda
15 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
Mix well into a bowl and ensure the consistency is soft but not liquidy. Spoon into a mason jar for air tight storage and pair with your favorite scrub brush to shine and deep clean grout, sinks, countertops, tubs, etc. My favorite scrub brush as pictured above is from Marley’s Monsters. It’s plastic free and made from coconut bristles. When it’s been used quite a bit, I throw it in my dish for a deep clean.
